    SILO Lab

SILO Lab. is an interactive media art group based on engineering, space, and video, and provides immersive experiences that cross the boundaries between art and technology by utilizing various media technologies. We create new experiences that have never existed before through continuous research at the intersection of technology and art, and implement them as art. SILO Lab. turns imagination into reality, providing unique and sensory experiences that have never existed in the world. It makes difficult and complex digital media emotionally accessible, and reinterprets familiar spaces and times in a new way to elicit empathy. It surprises and delights people through the power of technology, and opens a window to see the world in a new way through the fusion of art and technology.

Introduction of the work | Chrono Passage
-
This is an art piece that expresses time, space, and the flow of light. The piece provides a new synesthetic experience through its elaborately arranged structure and rhythm of light. In the historical context and urban landscape of Gwanghwamun, this piece functions as a gate that connects the past, present, and future of Gwanghwamun, allowing viewers to visually and sensually feel the flow of time and the preciousness of moments. The elaborate grid structure and arrangement of light capture the fact that time flows orderly while also containing flexibility and infinite possibilities. When viewers pass through the gate of the piece, they go beyond simply looking at it and become subjects who move and interact in time. While experiencing the changes in light inside and outside the piece, they can feel and enjoy the visual landscape that changes depending on their movements and positions, and add their own stories to it. This work will be a door that allows us to encounter time in a new way at the boundary between the moment and the flow.
